Summer is going to be totally hot, and I'll need to change my cycling schedule. Two days ago I started riding from 10AM and the weather is so hot that I have to abort 30 minutes latter. And when I come home, I felt very uncomfortable and almost puked. That's not very nice.
One backup pipe in OPCafé's repository blew up and water were flew all over the place. Broke our freezer and the power adaptor of Mac Mini, and 3 boom boxes. That's very bad. (The Freezer is fixed, cost few houndrad of NTDs)
I will be paring with new college student on some Perl projects. That's nice. If it's going to be Perl6 then it'll be very challenging, but that's even better. HA.
And, OPCafé will hopefully move to a bigger place (with a big kitchen). That's nice too.
Anything that I'm worried about at this moment ? No. There are not. Good happenings goes with bad's. Smells like it's going to be good for the Summer 2007. Let's wait and see.
I recently find my self inventing many amazing sentences.
If you're a freelancer then it'll probably happen to you that You signed a working contract to one company A, but you really worked for some other company B. Because company A is only a money gateway to B, maybe it's because B is in another country, or there's some agreement about A and B. Anyhow, that's very possible.
By then, You are by default, have 4 bosses: two PMs, two big bosses: And I'm lucky enough, because I have only three. They are everywhere on network, Skype, MSN, AIM. You don't see their face, but they are popping up 7 windows on your poor little 1024x768px^2 working area. Don't get a bigger screen, it only helps to have 14 "boss".tagged() windows. Some of those bosses ask you to configure your MSN account to accept mobile SMS if you're not online, too.
Now I'd really like a function on either of those IM programs. Instead of right-click to send SMS to their mobile, could I have it right-clicked and get a shot-gun pointed to their head ?
OK, This is totally a complain.
So opcafe is really close to be open, and we're busy on it. Today should be the day that our lovely (rounded-corner) sign gets installed. So I called the sign vendor to confirm the time of installation, and found out that THEY DID NOT MAKE OUR SIGN.
There must be something wrong with all this. I issued the order, and pay 1/3 of the price in advance, gave them my design picture, and picked all the color number to used. 4 days latter, I got nothing.
They say: Sorry, we forgot.
I know that it's not a big sign, it's not like all their other cases, people always want a huge sign so people can see it up on the plane. But if that's how they do business, it's not likely that they'll be success to any extend, ironically "Success" is their company name.
So this failure company is of coursed banned, they gave us money back and we ask somebody else to do our sign.
I've been practicing latte art recently. It takes times, patient, and milk. Lot of milk.
So the purpose is to train my hand as a very accurate controller to layout some beautiful view based on the model of tree leaves.
Wait, that's exactly the same prototype as software development.
